The maximum load is always specified in the assembly instructions and is not to be exceeded. However, this limit is always subordinate to the maximum load recommended by the manufacturer of the car itself.

It is always the lowest value that applies. Max. roof load = load rack weight + any fitted rack accessories + the weight of the load itself.

If no special fitting positions are given in the assembly instructions, a minimum distance of 700 mm between the load rack bars is mandatory.

The roof rack is permitted to be assembled on cars with glass or panoramic roof, unless otherwise specified in mounting instructions or in the Buyer's Guide. Some types of sunroof cannot be used when the carrier is fitted.
